Viocena possesses a unique blend of expertise with a bachelor’s degree in social work and a Diploma in Clinical Medicine, coupled with a decade of experience in TB and TB/HIV projects funded by USAID. Currently serving as a Project Lead for the USAID Afya Shirikishi Activity, Viocena has held various key roles in renowned organizations such as PATH Tanzania TB/HIV project, KNCV TB Foundation’s Challenge TB project, and NACOPHA’s Hebu Tuyajenge Project. With competencies in coordination, supervision, and organization, Viocena effectively oversees project implementations through community volunteers. Furthermore, Viocena demonstrates proficiency in instructing and training health professionals and facilitating courses, workshops, and meetings on HIV, TB, and TB/HIV. Her proven experience in designing, managing, and delivering training sessions and capacity-building initiatives to community-based organizations for individuals living with HIV and those cured of TB underscores her commitment to enhancing healthcare services and outcomes within these communities.
