Halima Omary, an experienced Biotechnician and contact agent at MKUTA, utilizes her expertise to deliver high-quality psychosocial and human rights support services to clients. Specializing in TB, HIV/AIDS, and COVID-19 awareness, availability, and accessibility, she engages with clients through phone calls, inquiries, and community outreach efforts, aligning with MKUTA’s mission to reduce the burden of TB and HIV in Tanzania. Prior to her role at MKUTA, Halima served as a Laboratory Scientist at Aga Khan Hospital, Dar es Salaam, where she applied her knowledge of biological science and technology to develop innovative solutions for enhancing human life quality. Her responsibilities included conducting pathological tests, analyzing patient samples, and performing various medical laboratory tasks. Halima holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology from Wenzhou University in China.
