In 2013-14, through the TB Reach Wave III Project in Dar es Salaam, MKUTA reached 92% of its target of 637,039 with notification of 3,008 TB patients of whom 95% were put on treatment. In this project 39,278 drug users, slums residents, sex workers and truck drivers were reached and screened for TB, of whom 681 were notified with TB. Between 2020 and 2022, MKUTA notified a total of 9,605 patients, 4,690 being females and 4,915 being males. Those who were supported during throughout their treatment duration in the same time period were 2,152 (887 females; 1275 males).
